Abstract (en)
A collapsable container with a simple structure in which a short edge plate can be collapsed smoothly and with an engagement structure in which its engagement is not accidentally disengaged. A latch member 23 is provided on a short edge plate 14 of a collapsable container 11 and a latch receiver 24 on a long edge plate. The latch member 23 comprises a latch bar 25 in which its tip can protrude from the end face of the short edge plate; an operating bar 26 coupled to the latch bar 25 through a spring member 27; and a guiding part 28 for guiding the operating bar 26 to move vertically. In a constructed state, the operating bar 26 is pushed to move downward so that the latch bar 25 is separated from the latch receiver 24 by being led into the short edge plate and consequently, the short edge plate 14 and then long edge plate 13 can be collapsed. For constructing, the long edge plate 13 is stood up and then the short edge plate 14 is stood up, thereby engaging the latch bar 25 with the latch receiver 24 automatically.
