[origin: EP1655448A2] The connector (1) has an outer section corresponding to an inner section of a hollow section strip. A flat recess is provided at a side directed to a sealing on middle or corner-sided longitudinal area. Flaps are flexibly linked to both sides of the recess and are filled with butyl cement. The cement resigning from the edge side of the flaps seals a joint area (11) at a free end of sectional strips.
