Abstract (en)
A connection device (10) for electrical connection of contact pins, has a body piece (14) with an insertion section for axial engagement in the aperture and includes entrance apertures (18) for the contact pins and has a mounting surface (22) laterally displaced relative to the insertion section (16) and the mounting surface extends mainly tangential. The mounting surface operates in unison with a corresponding mounting surface of the housing, in which the mounting surface (22) of the connection device is formed of zones (24,26) tangentially opposed to one another, and the mounting surface zones (24,26) are formed non-elastic on one side and elastic on the other side. Independent claims are included for the following: (A) A fuel injector for a combustion engine. (B) Use of a connector device for electrical contact pins of a piezoelectric actuator of a fuel injector.
