Abstract (en)

The blower has a conveying channel (14) in a blower housing. A conveying wheel is rotatable around an axis of rotation. The conveying channel comprises several conveying blades in circumferential direction and a drive electric motor is provided for the conveying wheel. The drive electric motor is provided as an external runner motor with an external runner rotor (36) which is rotatable with the conveying wheel. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle heating apparatus comprising a lateral channel blower.
