[origin: EP1655804A2] The method involves guiding an electrical transmission unit and a contact unit for establishing a connection of an operating station, where the transmission unit consists of an electrical conductor, which is surrounded by a wire sheath. The wire sheath is crimped with a crimp unit of the contact unit in the operating station. The electrical conductor is welded with the contact area of the contact unit, in an operating process. An independent claim is also included for a device for connecting an electrical transmission unit with a contact unit.
