Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005022960A1] The invention relates to an electrolumeniscent film (1) providing a particularly advantageous compromise between the safe functioning and simplified production thereof. The inventive polychromatic electrolumeniscent element consists of three similar electrolumeniscent films (1, 2, 3) which contain dispersed electroluminophors and whose colours are not different from each other. The different colours are obtainable by an additional colour mixture by means of a separate electric excitation of each electrolumeniscent film (1, 2, 3). Each of said films (1) essentially comprises a support (51) made of PET or other plastic material on which an electrode layer (21) is vapour-deposited or cathode-sputtered, a luminous layer (11) on which a rear transparent electrode (31) is placed by serigraphy and laminated by means of an insulating foil (91).
