Abstract (en)
Molding apparatus for shaping the walls of pipes (2) comprises a female mold (4), into which the pipe fits. The pipe is partially filled with a hydraulic medium (7) and a piston (3) is inserted which presses the medium against an ejector block (10) and bends the pipe wall into a cavity (5) in the mold. An independent claim is included for a method for molding pipes using the apparatus.
