Abstract (en)
The press has a sheet guiding cylinder (2) including a coating device (9). The coating device has a spraying device or inking roller for applying a paint abrasive coating on a surface (11) of the sheet guiding cylinder. A cleaning device (13) is arranged in a rotating direction of the coating device for removing coating residues or dirt at the sheet guiding cylinder. The coating device operates permanently or cyclically. An independent claim is also included for a method for driving a multicolor printing press.
