Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1657492A2] Gas hob comprises a gas tap (7) for a gas burner (1) and a position sensor (23) arranged within a housing (21) of an electromagnetic valve (13). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Gas tap for the gas hob; and (2) Electromagnetic valve for the gas tap. Preferred Features: The valve is arranged in the gas tap. The gas tap has a tap axis (9) which brings the valve into an open position when actuated. The hob has a control unit (35) with an ignition electrode (37). The position sensor is formed as an electrical switch for closing a signal line leading to the control unit.
