Abstract (en)
The clock piece has a barrel (1) used as a ratchet and a barrel (2) engaging directly with a mobile of a gear train counter to control an escapement and an oscillator. A common staff strikes a power reserve mechanism (10) having a rack (10a) connected to a pivot carrying a hand to indicate power reserve. The rack is driven by pins (11, 12) fixed at the end of the staff along staff`s axis with a spacing relating to a tooth of the rack.
