[origin: WO2005020869A1] The invention relates to a therapeutic treatment appliance comprising a horizontal surface for patients. At least one sonic body (1) is fixed beneath the horizontal surface, said sonic body producing sound waves at a frequency below 100 Hz that are collected in pre-determined discrete frequency bands, and an operating unit (4) comprising a plurality of operating elements (9) is used to control the at least one sonic body (1). According to the invention, each operating element is respectively associated with a pre-determined, discreet frequency band below 100 Hz, and enables the selection thereof.
