Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005021197A1] The invention relates to a mortising device for creating mortises or similar, mounted on and/or designed for machine tools comprising a rotary drive, in particular CNC rotary machines. Said device comprises at least one rotatably mounted rotor (2), at least one slide (7) that can be displaced back and forth and a mortising tool (8) that co-operates with the slide (7). According to the invention, to produce the mortises or similar, the slide (7) can be displaced between two end positions, a working stroke position (23) and a return stroke position (24) and the rotor (2) and/or slide (7) are configured and/or arranged in such a way that the slide can be displaced, together with the mortising tool (8), during its return stroke from its previous working position (23) into a return stroke position (24) that is removed from the working stroke position (23).
