Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2004109028A1] The invention is based on an original design for a system that can be constructed from structural wood elements. Each structural element consists of a central block (01, 04) that has a groove on the base thereof and a tongue on the upper part thereof, enabling superimposed blocks to be vertically assembled. A lateral element (02, 05) is fixed to one side of the central block, said lateral element being thinner, longer and higher than the block. A coating element (03, 06) is then applied to said unit, to the side of the lateral element opposing the side fixed to the central block, said coating element being the same useful height as the lateral element, longer than the same, and having a variable thickness. The upper half of the central block (01) constituting the structural element (100a) is fixed to the inner face of the lateral element (02), and the lower half of the central block (04) of the structural element (100b) is fixed to the inner side of the lateral element (05). The superimposition of the structural element (100a) over the structural element (100b) forms the structural unit (100) comprising assembly bodies on the upper and lower longitudinal edges, enabling the elements to be vertically assembled. During the superimposition of the structural elements for creating constructions, the upper longitudinal edges of the structural elements nest in the higher-positioned lower longitudinal edges of the structural edges. Said nesting, which involves the insertion of the tongues of certain central blocks into the grooves of others, ensures the stability of the structure and enables the vertical alignment, the horizontality and the verticality of the same to be defined, during and after the creation of the construction.
