The high-pressure pump comprises at least one pump element (32). The latter is equipped with a pump plunger (34) that indirectly performs a stroke displacement by means of the drive shaft (12) using the ring (28) and that rests at least indirectly against the ring (28). The ring (28) is provided with a coating (56) of anti-friction lacquer, at least on the exterior surface facing away from the shaft section (26) and at least in a region (29), in which the pump plunger(s) (34) lie(s) at least indirectly against said ring (28).
