Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2853727A1] The device has a light source, and a light sensor collecting light reflected from one of several segments (20, 30, 40) of an object (10) or light that has passed through the segments. A spectrometer analyzes a set of wavelengths of the reflected or transmitted light for the different segments, and automatically identifies the same hue from the set of wavelengths. A screen displays the image taken by a camera. An independent claim is also included for a procedure for determining the hue of an object.
