[origin: EP1658912A2] Production of a metal component, to be provided with a plastic component on its outer periphery, involves (a) pressing a spherical indentation into a plate, (b) incorporating a hole in the indentation, (c) penetrating to form a receiver, (d) bending downwards to form a collar and (e) forming axial grooves (16) on the outer edge of the collar.
