Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1658944A1] A mounting structure for pivotally mounting a cover (10; 30) (for covering a cutting blade (4)) to a splitter (12) includes a mounting slot (12a) formed in the splitter (12) throughout the thickness of the splitter (12), first and second support portions (10a, 10b; 30a, 30b) formed on the cover (10; 30) and defining a slit (10e; 30e) therebetween for receiving the splitter (12), and a mounting device (20; 40; 46; 50). First and second support holes (10c, 10d; 30c, 30d; 30c1, 30dl) are respectively formed in the first and second support portions (10a, 10b; 30a, 30b) along a common axis on opposite sides of the slit (10e; 30e). The mounting device (20; 40; 46; 50) has first and second rotary members (21, 22; 41, 42; 52, 53), a shaft (21a; 41; 51), and an operation device (22; 43; 45). The first and second rotary members (21, 22; 41, 42; 52, 53) are rotatably and axially movably received within the first and second holes (10c, 10d; 30c, 30d; 30c1, 30d1). The shaft (21a; 41b; 51) is axially movably inserted into at least one of the first and second rotary members (21, 22; 41, 42; 52, 53). The mounting shaft (21a; 41b; 51) has a shaft portion that is insertable into the mounting slot (12a). The operation device (22; 43; 45) is operable to move the first and second rotary members (21, 22; 41, 42; 52, 53) relative to each other and has a mounting position and a releasing position.
