Abstract (en)
A papermaking assembly has a head box that discharges to a dilution zone (14) to a flow guidance zone (12) incorporating structures (13) that direct the fibrous suspension in the correct direction of travel. The structures also reduce vortices within the respective sector. The flow guidance zone is horizontally sub-divided into a number of passages forming an extension from the mixer chamber.
