[origin: EP1659333A2] Light (1) comprises a deflecting mirror (6) arranged outside a projecting unit (2) in the light outlet direction to deflect light relative to the light outlet direction. Preferred Features: The deflecting mirror is structured so that a light emitted from the projecting unit as a single image is broken down into individual partial images which join together again to form a single image on a wall being illuminated. The mirror has several segments (7a-7d).
