[origin: EP1659544A1] Positional differences occur between the coin detecting coils 67, 68 attached on the side of the body and the detecting coils 77, 78 attached in surface symmetrical positions to the forgoing detecting coils on the side of the door. The positional differences lower the accuracy of determining whether the coin is real or fake. When coins clog in the coin passage, the clogging coins sometimes fail to be removed because the clogging coins do not naturally drop even when the door is opened by pushing the canceling lever. [Means for Solution] A slot member 22 having a coin passage 22ab through which coins pass, and coin detecting means integrally formed with coin detecting coils are attached inside the door 10. Also provided is canceling means whereby by operating the canceling lever 5, the coin pushing-out portion 7d of the canceller 7 is inserted into the coin passage 22ab to remove the coins from the coin passage.
