[origin: EP1659603A2] Impinged by a spring towards a short-circuit-current reading in its inactive/output position, a contact carrier (CC) (14) is kept in an output position by a securing device (SD) (24). In a short-circuit current, a transmission element (12) moves the SD so that the SD releases the CC to allow it to move freely towards a short-circuit-current reading.
