Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1659604A2] The switchgear has an electromagnetic and or thermal strip, with the electromagnetic and thermal strips having an operable latch. A latch is provided, in case of a short-circuit or over current of the electromagnetic and thermal strip. A movable contact holder, is coupled with the latch which is provided in an open position, providing a switching toggle for the manipulation of the latch. The switching toggle is attached to U-shaped handles and a stationary housing section can slide into it. A release lever is led into the U- shaped handle with the stationary housing section. The release lever is provided with the U-shaped handle and the stationary housing section forms the latch.
