Abstract (en)
The free ends of stator teeth are coupled to a sleeve (12) which extends coaxial to the stator body (10). The sleeve has non-magnetic or weakly magnetic zones extending in the axial direction between each two adjacent stator teeth. The sleeve preferably comprises ferromagnetic material, with the zones formed by slots. Independent claims are included for a DC motor, and a method of manufacturing a stator.
