Hearing aid has a section (HdO) which fits behind the ear and an earpiece (IdO). These are linked by a connector (V) which is made from a shape memory material so that it reassumes the desired shape if it is bent. Independent claims are included for: (A) a hearing aid as described in which the connector contains a spring component which presses the earpiece against the ear; and (B) a method for inserting the hearing aid.

Hörgeräte mit einem HdO-Teil und einem IdO-Teil sollen leichter eingesetzt werden können. Hierzu wird ein starres Verbindungselement (V) vorgeschlagen, das das HdO-Teil mit dem IdO-Teil verbindet. Alternativ kann das Verbindungselement (V) aus einem Memorymaterial bestehen oder eine Federkomponente aufweisen, so dass das IdO-Teil automatisch in den Gehörgang eingedrückt wird. Vorteilhaft ist auch eine schraubenförmige Nut (N) um das IdO-Teil, die ein "Einschrauben" in den Gehörgang aber auch eine Belüftung für offene Versorgung gewährleistet.
