[origin: WO2005023476A1] The invention relates to a deburring device comprising a rotationally driven machining wheel (3) and a deburring disk (7, 13, 14) sweeping over the edge of the face (6, 6') of said machining wheel (3) with a cutting edge (10). Said deburring disk can be advanced radially towards the machining wheel (3) and rotates about an axis (8) parallel to the axis of the machining wheel (3). The deburring disk (7, 13, 14) is impinged upon by a force in the axial direction. When advanced towards the machining wheel (3), it is turned off in the axial direction against the applied force as a control flange (11) slides off the wheel edge (R) of the machining wheel (3). The invention is characterized in that the control flange (11) continuously extends across the entire circumference of the deburring disk (7, 13, 14), forms an angle alpha with the axis (8) and is limited by the cutting edge (10).
