[origin: WO2005007981A2] Door fitting unit, comprising a first and a second element, which elements are each provided with connecting means for connecting the elements detachably to each other, which first and second elements are each provided with a first flank, which can be fitted on the one and the other side of the door respectively, each of the elements comprising a base piece and a top piece, on which base piece said connecting means are provided, which base piece is provided with a first fixing profile, and which top piece is provided with a second fixing profile, the first and the second fixing profiles being complementary, and all the aboye being such that the top piece can be mounted on the base piece, which first fixing profile is provided on a second flank of the base piece situated opposite said first flank, and the second fixing profile is provided on an inside flank of the top piece and does not form part of the outside contour of the top piece.
