[origin: WO2005024319A1] The invention relates to a refrigerating appliance comprising a body (1), a door (2) that encloses an inner region (3) and is fixed to the body (1) in such a way that it can pivot about an axis to a maximum opening angle, and at least two carriers (11, 12) carrying products to be refrigerated and inserted into the inner region (3) in a superimposed manner. The lower (11, 12) carrier is guided on rails (10) and can be displaced from a rear abutment when the door (2) is open. A door compartment (15, 16) is fixed to the inside (4) of the door (2). The lower carrier (11, 12) is at least predominantly covered by the upper carrier (11) when it is located against the rear abutment, and protrudes at least predominantly from beneath the upper carrier (11) when it is located against a front abutment, when the door (2) is opened at an at least 90 DEG angle.
