[origin: DE10339349A1] An input unit (EE) has a detection unit (EF) for a user's electronic identification key that enables distinct identification of a user. The identification key has a signature entered by a user by hand via a display device (D) on the detection unit, to which the signature is transferred by a portable transmitter via a radio link. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A transmitter unit for process automating technology to store a user's electronic signature sent by wireless transmission to a detection unit; (b) and for a unit to satisfy certifying regulations.
