Abstract (en)

Rope comprises at least one strand of textile fiber material surrounded by a reinforcement in the form of synthetic monofilaments and/or synthetic threads, yarns or twines which exhibit greater static friction on a smooth cylindrical metal surface than impurity-free polyamide monofilaments and have at least 80% of the abrasion resistance of polyacrylate yarn.
