The cross-section of the tube widens in the direction of one side of the building wall. At least one section of an upper or lower side wall (16,18) of the tube inside the building wall drops down at an angle. Independent claims are included for the following: (A) an assembly of at least one light element and a building wall in which the light element is fitted in an opening in the building wall corresponding tot he outside circumference of the tube and is anchored there, preferably plastered and/or glued; (B) a shuttering element for a light element for fitting in a building wall; and (C) a method for the manufacture of a light element.
