Abstract (en)
The knob has a rotating wheel (16) with a ring gear (160) at a base. The ring gear has axial circular notches (164) to set protrusions (206, 208) in contact with contact conductors (228, 230) facing the protrusions, in a manner to deliver a pulse train, which is function of the direction and an angular displacement of the wheel, for a control unit. Arms have lugs (210, 212) in their middle to cooperate with the notches of the wheel. An independent claim is also included for a ventilation heating and/or air conditioning apparatus control assembly comprising a control knob.

L'invention concerne un bouton de commande (10), notamment pour tableau de bord de véhicule automobile comprenant : - une platine (18) comportant une ouverture (182), - une molette rotative (16) montée sur la platine (18), - un circuit imprimé (22) comportant une piste conductrice commune (226) et au moins une piste conductrice de contact (228, 230), et - une pièce d'encodage (20) comportant une partie centrale de support (200) fixée sur la piste conductrice commune (226) du circuit imprimé et au moins un bras (202, 204) montés sur la partie centrale du support, chaque bras comportant à son extrémité libre une protubérance (206, 208) faisant office de contacteur caractérisé en ce que la molette rotative (16) comporte à sa base une couronne (160) comportant une pluralité de crans circulaires axiaux (164) pour mettre en contact la protubérance (206, 208) avec une piste conductrice de contact (228, 230) qui lui fait face, de façon à délivrer pour une unité de commande une série d'impulsions fonction du sens et du déplacement angulaire de la molette rotative.
