Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1662841A2] A signal processing unit (D) processes amplified microphone signal and outputs it through a speaker. A high frequency detector (HFD) analyzes the amplified electromagnetic signal received by a telephone coil of global system for mobile communication (GSM), universal mobile telecommunication system (UMTS) or Bluetooth, for detection of frequency component of 1MHz to switch over to a telephone hearing loop program. An independent claim is also included for method of operating a hearing aid system.
