[origin: FR2859364A1] The display unit, consisting of a support (1) that slides along a rail when moved by a manually-operated bar (16), has a lock in the form of meshing toothed surfaces on lateral projections (7) and the rail edges (10) to hold it in the required position. The teeth are in the shape of right-angled triangles that allow the support to be moved on one direction only, i.e. towards the front of the display unit as it is emptied. The front of the support has a corrugated horizontal surface (20) for the displayed articles.
