Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2858614A1] Fabrication of artificial granulate (10) consists of: (a) providing a first material (12) comprising particles; (b) providing some elements (16, 18, 20, 22) destined to form a second material; (c) mixing a predetermined quantity (Q 12) of the first material with a predetermined quantity (Q 16, Q 18, Q 20, Q 22) of each of the elements of the second material, thus obtaining a mortar (M 12-14) formed with inclusions of the first material and a matrix of the second material; (d) applying this mortar to a first treatment (T 1) during a first predetermined treatment time (t 1); (e) crushing (C) the mortar to obtain the artificial granulates. The first material has a hardness greater than the second material (claimed) and may be a gneiss sand or a dioritic sand. The second material includes a cement (claimed), silica fume (claimed), a super-plastifying agent and water.
