Abstract (en)
A valve gear of an internal combustion engine, wherein when a zone for one of the positive and negative accelerations of a rotating cam is set to be used by a ramp part, the ramp part is formed in a curved shape so that the lift amount of a swing cam per unit swing angle can generate the other positive or negative acceleration so that a valve lift speed at the portion of the valve corresponding to the ramp part is made generally constant.
