Abstract (en)
A refining furnace muffle comprises a muffle cover above a tube heater (4,6,8) with a vapor remover (34) beneath which is a catalyst unit (22) to process the vapors. The catalyst unit comprises a carrier (24) arranged with the heater and the catalyst is thermally coupled to the heating element (36).
