Abstract (en)

The present invention relates to a speech synthesis system. A speech recognizer (20) is configured to recognize a speech signal. A sound signal acquirer (11) is configured to acquire a sound signal. Further, the speech synthesis system comprises a first spectrum acquirer (51) configured to acquirer a spectrum of the acquired sound signal as a first spectrum. A second spectrum generator (52) is configured to generate a reconfigured spectrum of the sound signal, based on the speech signal recognized by the speech recognizer (20), as a second spectrum. Further, the speech synthesis system comprises a modified spectrum generator (53) configured to generate a modified spectrum in accordance with the first spectrum and the second spectrum. An output (54) is configured to output a synthesized speech signal based on the modified spectrum.
