[origin: WO2005023342A1] The invention relates to an assembly for administering an injectable product. Said assembly comprises: an insertion device (2) for inserting a hypodermic needle (4) into tissue by means of a first pressure element (11); a distribution device (5) for distributing the product from a product container (3) by means of a second pressure element (14); and a release element (8) for releasing the insertion and distribution devices. During the release of the insertion and distribution devices, the insertion device (2) is displaced in the insertion direction by the first pressure element (11) from a starting position into an insertion position and the distribution device (5) remains inactive in relation to the insertion device (2) until the insertion position is reached.
