Abstract (en)
[origin: FR2859940A1] The cutter, for use on a machine with a feeder, compressor and pusher (10, 11) for a food product (P), consists of a rotary vertical disc (9) with at least one cutting assembly comprising a block (15) carrying a series of evenly-spaced claws (13) in contact with a straight counter-cutter (14). The claws have cutting edges (13a) inclined at an angle of some 45 degrees and projecting beyond the counter-cutter to interact with grooves in a wear bar (17). Above the cutting edges the claws have straight sections (13b) angled in the opposite direction and held against the cutting edge (14a) of the counter-cutter. The block carrying the claws and the countercutter are attached to supports on either side of an aperture (9a) in the disc and capable of adjustment.
