[origin: WO2005032793A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a composite structure (1) consisting in preparing a metal component (2) provided with an adhesion promoter layer, introducing said metal component (2) into the mould of an injection moulding tool in such away that said adhesion promoter layer (5) is arranged in the opposite position with respect to the free volume of the mould. Afterwards, a plastic component (4) is applied to the metal component (2) by injection moulding. Finally, the metal component (2) is heated in order to activate the adhesion promoter layer (5) after injection moulding, thereby obtaining the composite structure (1) whose components (2, 4) are reliably jointed to each other.
