[origin: WO2005038179A1] The invention relates to an electric or electro-mechanical locking device which can be displaced in a slide rail (1), particularly for doors. The slide rail is provided with a lower chamber (3) and an upper chamber (2). A current guiding unit (4) is arranged in the upper chamber (2) and a sliding piece (7) with a retaining mechanism (8) and a holding mechanism (9) is arranged in the upper chamber (2). The aim of the invention is to provide an electric or electro-mechanical locking device which is improved in comparison with known locking devices, particularly with respect to current guidance.
