Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005031107A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for boring, especially for the percussion boring or rotary percussion boring of holes in soil or rock. According to the invention, a borehole is formed by a percussive and/or rotary movement carried out by a bore-crown (2) mounted on a boring rod (3), and a jacket or envelope tube (4, 6) is introduced into the borehole. The invention is characterised in that the extracted material is transported through at least one opening located in the region of the connection point between the bore-crown (2) and an adjacent envelope tube (4), and/or at least one through opening (24) located at a distance from the connection point between the bore-crown (2) and the envelope tube (4), in the annular region (31) defined between the outer periphery of the boring rod (3) and the inner periphery of the envelope tube (4) and the adjacent jacket tube (6), and is removed from the borehole. In this way, extracted material can be removed in a safe and reliable manner.
