Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2005028901A1] The invention relates to an auxiliary unit drive for a vehicle engine, comprising a couplable and uncouplable pulley (20) that generates the transfer of torque from a belt guide to a shaft (9), in the coupled state, by means of a friction clutch (22, 12), and can be positioned in such a way that it rotates coaxially about the shaft (9) in the uncoupled state. The friction clutch is thus created by the fact that an active friction driver (16) of the pulley (20) is guided in an axially displaceable manner and is pressed onto a corresponding passive friction driver (11) of the shaft (9) for the coupling. The aim of the invention is to produce such drives in a smaller, lighter, more cost-effective and mechanically simple manner. To this end, the axial displacement of the active friction driver (16) causes a corresponding axial displacement of the ring guide.
