[origin: WO2005031949A1] The invention relates to a direct-current motor provided with a housing, a rotor and a stator comprising electrical windings. A commutator/carbon-brush system is provided in order to provide the electrical windings with current. The stator encompasses a rotor comprising a shaft and permanent magnets. The commutator is arranged in a rotationally fixed manner and carbon brushes, which can rotate with the rotor and which are post-guidable in relation to the commutator in the direction of wear are provided in order to improve the pump drive so that it can be used in a vehicle system.
