Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1669004A2] A sliding support for heavy duty pull out storage modules has the modules supported by upper and lower rails. Drive catches comprising actuators and drag catches are engaged as the module is pulled out against return spring pressure. At a set extension the drive catches disengage and the drag catches are locked onto fixed supports, holding the tensioned springs. When the module is pushed inwards the drive catches are engaged and the springs assist in retracting the system. Just before the fully closed position the movement is checked by integral dampers.
