[origin: EP1669138A1] A system for applying fluids, e.g. adhesive, paint etc., onto a moving sheet feed of material (6) has a number of dosing heads (4) mounted with adjustable spacing on an overhead support (3) and with the dosing ends closely positioned over the material by drive rollers each side of the dosing heads. The rollers press the material onto alignment plates and onto pressure rollers. The close spacing of the rollers and dosing jets ensure an improved material feed. The alignment plate has at least segments.
