[origin: EP1669509A1] The vapour sealing sheet (1) especially for roof constructions has a film (3) and a backing layer (2) disposed in parallel, and connecting strips (4) spaced apart in relation to one another, permanently interconnected diffusion-tight. At least some of the film sections (6) which are installed between the connecting strips are separable from the backing layer and on their two sides facing the connecting strips have at least one tear-open seam extending parallel to the connecting strips.
