Abstract (en)
The device has a housing (7) with an arithmetic and logic unit to process position signals received by an antenna and to generate data that is to be sent to a store controller. The housing is detachably fixed to a wall of a container (1). The unit stores the received position signals during the transportation of the container, and sends the signals to the controller for registration of a transportation route of the container. An independent claim is also included for a system for monitoring a hired or leased container.
