[origin: WO2005038153A1] The invention relates to flood protection for a section of an embanked area with a network of channels (5), wherein all openings (9) of the network of channels (5) are respectively provided with a substantially watertight attachable container (11) joined thereto, whereby the upper edge (12) of said container is higher than the expected flood level (3). The attachable container (11) is provided on the lower side thereof with a flexible sealing flange protruding on all sides in an inner direction and enclosing a base opening (9). The sealing flange is tightly connected to a container groove which is made of a flexible film and which is arranged in a surrounding container jacket.
