Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2005026669A1] A hand-held container (21') manually rotable between an upright and an inverted position, including a dispensing device for batch dispensing granular material defining a passage extending in a material flow direction from a material inlet (30') for allowing granular material to enter the passage from the container (21') to a material outlet (23'), a barrier chamber (33') being defined between the material inlet and the material outlet by an inlet and an outlet barrier walls (29', 31'), extending transversaly to the material flow direction, the inlet wall (29') defining an inlet aperture (30') to allow material to flow into the chamber (33') in the flow direction when the container is inverted and to hinder the material in flowing out of the chamber (33') opposite the flow direction when the container is upright, ant the outlet wall (31') defining an outlet barrier aperture (32') to allow material flow out of the chamber (33') when the container is upright and to hinder the material in flowing out of the barrier chamber (33') when the container is inverted.
